Remarks
The colors yellow for the base component and blue for the hardener are only for the purpose of distinguishing the wo components. In addition, the colors give an even green color when combined, which indicates that the correct composition has been achieved.
We recommend not to use the product in situations where it may come in contact with water for human consumption.
Preparation
The surfaces to be treated must first be cleaned and free from rust, grease, old paint residue, etc. Sanding with sandpaper or sandblasting improves adhesion.
Do not use thinners or solvents when kneading.
Knead the yellow base component and the blue hardener into an even green substance. Wear rubber gloves when doing this. Partially fill a bucket with water. Always use sufficient water when mixing and processing. This makes kneading easier and prevents the product from sticking to your hands. The use of water has no influence on the product. So, you can re-wet your hands as often as necessary.
Only knead the amount that you will apply in a short time. This because the curing starts immediately, making the mixture unworkable within 20 to 60 minutes at room temperature. Heat accelerates curing. Cold slows down curing.
Processing
- Also wear damp rubber gloves during processing.
- The product can be applied to both dry and wet surfaces.
- Start applying with standing parts at the top.
- Apply the product per area and press it where necessary to increase the adhesion. In normal applications, the ideal layer thickness is 3-6mm. After application, rub with damp hands or gloves to obtain a smooth finish.
- After use, clean your hands with soap and water before the product hardens in your hands. You can dispose of unused material in the garbage.
Shelf life
Both the yellow and blue components have an unlimited shelf life if you close the packaging properly. Keep the product out of the reach of children.
